The Recruiter Awards for Excellence 2013

Please make sure that you read through all of the information below before beginning the entry process:


The entry period for 2013 is now closed.


The awards are open to entries from the entire recruitment community: In-house recruiters, recruitment outsourcing firms, recruitment advertising agencies and recruitment agencies.


Please note that all Agency entrants will be required to submit financial information upon entry. To preview the information required click here.

  • Please ensure that you read the How to Enter and the Conditions of Entry sections (below) before completing the relevant Category Entry 

 


 


  • The word counts are simply a guideline, but please ensure that your entries are as concise as possible by, for example, using bullet points if necessary.

 


  • If you are entering multiple categories please complete the relevant Entry Form for each, ensuring that you have tailored the entry specifically to each category.

 


  • Please ensure you pay particular attention to all compulsory questions, in order for your entry to be accepted for judging.

 

  • Each entry will be judged on the information provided in the Category Entry Form and on the financial and company information supplied during the online entry process.

 


  • The judges will be looking for proof that you have produced an award-winning entry.

 


  • Entrants into the Internal Recruitment Awards will be judged against criteria including Effectiveness; Quality of Service; Innovation etc.

 


  • External agencies will be measured against four key main criteria: Quality of Service; Innovation; Profitability and Financial Stability.

 

  • All entries will be viewed by the individual session chairs and Recruiter Editor, DeeDee Doke.

 


  • Entries which have not been correctly submitted will be rejected.  Please see ‘How to Enter’ and the ‘Conditions of Entry’ details.

 


  • The judging panel will meet in February, after which the shortlist will be published in Recruiter magazine and on the Awards website, and all entrants will be individually contacted.

 

All entering agencies verify that their companies have been in business under their current names precisely and have not been involved in insolvency proceedings (for instance pre-package arrangements) within the last two years. Further, agencies must verify that they have not had any licences removed (e.g. Gang Master Licensing Authority), been convicted in courts of law/tribunals for malpractice or poor treatment of employees, or been subjected to penalties/disciplinary action by a government organisation or a trade body for practices related to agency operation, between October 2011 – October 2012.  


  • These awards are open to any recruitment businesses that have been in operation since at least 1st January 2010.Excluding Best Newcomer Agency, this is open to any recruitment business that started trading no earlier than 1 January 2009.

 


  • To enter for sector specific categories (‘External’ awards), a significant proportion of your business must be derived from that sector - either at least 25% revenue must come from it or no fewer than 20 staff must be responsible for it.

 


  • Entries will not be accepted for judging unless, via the online entry process, the requested financial and company information has been supplied, the correct entry template has been uploaded and, where requested, a supporting testimonial or reference has been provided.

 


  • Entries where the word count exceeds 2,500 words will be disqualified.

 

  • Companies may enter into more than one category as appropriate, but an entry fee must be paid for each category entered.


  • The judges reserve the right to re-categorise entries if they think another category would be more suitable. However, they cannot be expected to routinely re-categorise incorrectly entered submissions.

 


  • Please note that if your entry is shortlisted the information in your written submission may be used at the Awards ceremony and included in any supporting materials for the Awards, such as in the Book of the Night or Recruiter magazine.

 


  • Sponsors are not permitted to enter the category which they are sponsoring.

 


  • Payments for entries must have cleared by Friday 11th January 2013 in order for entries to be judged.

 


  • Entries may be withdrawn for any reason up until 5.30pm on Friday 11th January 2013.  However, the entry fee is not refundable. To withdraw an entry, please email anja.rodford@redactive.co.uk

 


  • Redactive Events are not responsible for retaining any supporting material for collection, unless the entrant specifically requests this by email before 5.30pm on Friday 11th January 2013.

 


  • Entries will not be returned.

 


  • Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

 


  • The judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered in to regarding them.
  • Please ensure that you have read the Terms and Conditions of Entry (above) prior to submitting your entry/ies.

 


  • Each category has a different Category Entry Form which can be downloaded from the categories page. Please complete the relevant form for each entry you submit, ensuring you have tailored the entry specifically to the category.

 


  • Return to the website and complete your details on the Submit your Entry page, before selecting the first category you wish to enter. You will then be asked to complete a category specific page with the entry details, and upload the relevant Category Entry Form for each category you wish to enter.

 


At this stage you will also be asked to upload:


  • Company logo (as an Illustrator EPS or a JPEG of at least 300 DPI).Please note: for the Recruiter of the Year categories you will be asked to upload a photograph of the nominated individual. 

 


  • Team photo (as an Illustrator EPS or a JPEG of at least 300 DPI).

 


  • Please note that if shortlisted, this logo / photograph / image will be used to represent the entry at the Awards ceremony and in any supporting materials for the Awards, such as in the Book of the Night or Recruiter magazine.

 


  • You will then proceed to the payment stage. Payment for entries must have cleared by Friday 27th January 2013 in order for entries to be judged.

 


  • On completion of the entry process you will receive an email confirming that we have received your entry: please note the reference number which will appear on this confirmation email, for use on any further correspondence.

Entry Fee


The cost per entry will be as follows:


Standard entry costs £149 + VAT at the prevailing rate. 

This rate is valid until 11.01.13


Late entries will be charged at £199 + VAT to cover the extra administration necessary to get these sent out to our judges in good time.
